Itís important that we all look after our own wellbeing, and the wellbeing of others at all times.
During an outbreak of a disease like COVID-19 itís inevitable that the need to look after
our wellbeing is heightened Ė and we mustnít forget that this involves our mental wellbeing.

HI All
Hope you are all well and following Government advice.
The proposed committee meeting for Thursday is now cancelled. However I am trying to work out someway that the committee can have a video conference.
In the meantime I'm sure you are aware that that Short mat and Crib have finished. The Quiz night has been cancelled. Monday morning work parties are suspended. Malcolm and Ivor, the Wednesday cutters and Richard and John the Friday cutters, do not start yet, but thanks anyway.
The pre season meeting and Green opening are both postponed.
All Bowls England, County, EHBA, EHBL HDSCBA, and Cestra Competitions have been cancelled.
Keep well, I'll be in touch again soon.
Best Regards
John

Springtime nursery at Crews Hill is taking on line orders and have free delivery if you spend £30.00. Their on line order list is limited each day so it is best to go on it fairly early in the morning - not sure if they are doing baskets, but you can have a look.
Stay well everyone.

HI All
Hope you are all well.
I Spoke to Gerald Smedley yesterday he is completely isolated after getting the Government letter. He is fine, but not receiving visitors.
As far as I know all members are o.k.
Yvonne and I took our daily exercise yesterday by walking over to the Club. Whilst there I further exercised by mowing the Green. (Pictures attached )Yvonne emptied the barrow (most of the time ).  Some of the time she did her own version of exercise. ( Picture attached )
Fred please note the straight lines, I did some wavy ones as well just because you weren't there to tell me off. Cut at 7mm, no groomer engaged, loads came off and no disease.
Best  Regards and KEEP WELL
John
Cancellation of Weekend Friendlies
In common with other clubs, Rosedale Bowling Club has had to acknowledge that the summer 2020 bowling season will be different from any other season we have ever known.  The Coronavirus epidemic will cause a lot of games, internal and external, to be seriously disrupted.  I have agreed to cancel all our weekend friendly games at least until the 1st July 2020.  We will review the situation prevailing in mid-June, and issue a further update at that time.
I wish you, your families and members well and look forward to meeting you all soon- even if it isn't until 2021.
Please take care and keep well
Best Regards
Malcolm Thomas

Hi All
Hope this finds you all well and staying safe.
Firstly I'm sure we all wish a warm welcome to our 3 latest members.
Derek, Barry and Geoff. Unfortunately I have no email address for Geoff so he won't see this , but welcome anyway.
Just a little update on the green situation. It's looking alright. We should get some rain at he end of the week and that will also help.
If Boris adjusts the lock down on Monday, you should be able to roll up by Thursday/Friday.
