Rosedale Bowls Club NewsWe held our second fun day of the season on Sunday 13th September. 32 bowlers took part and there were also some supporters. The weather held out and allowed us to enjoy a full days bowling. Once again, we played a spider to start the games off, followed by two 9 end games in the morning and 4 fun games after lunch, including bowls on to a target and a very competitive game of jacks into the ditch - Helen Georgiou showing the men how to do it! New Bowler Sharon Webb took the prize for top shot of the day.
Many of the bowlers who won prizes on the day gave back their winnings which, together with some donations, were added to the profits from the day which will go towards the general costs of maintaining our green.
