Rosedale Bowls Club NewsOn Saturday 19th April we held our opening match with a President's team versus Captain's team game.
The event started at 1.00 with a buffet lunch during which our captain, Malcolm Thomas, was congratulated by all and presented with a trophy to mark his 50 years playing at our club.
There followed a 6 rink triples game which was played by all on our excellent green in fine sunshine and in good spirits.
The game ended with the President's team winning by a narrow margin. Players retired to the bar after the game to celebrate the start of a new season of bowls.
